Kazakhstan trade development Centre
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Kazakh counterpart Karim Massimov witnessed the signing of the documents. The agreement between the National Export and Investment Agency of Kazakhstan and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan was signed by Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan and Kazakh Agency Deputy Chairman Meirzhan Maikenov.
The agreement would encourage mutual exchange of information on trade and services; facilitate development of potential trade routes between both countries and establish contact among the priority areas such as agribusiness, food industry, entertainment and services, machinery and equipment, fashion, design, technology and health, construction, metallurgy and pharmaceuticals.
The agreement between the Foreign Services Academy of Pakistan and the Academy of Public Administration under the president of Kazakhstan was signed by Special Assistant to Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi and Kazakh Academy of Public Administration rector. Under the agreement, the two countries would establish and further develop cooperation in training and improving professional skills of diplomats with an aim to strengthen bilateral relations.
The agreement on cooperation in the area of defence and strategic studies between the National Defence University (NDU) and the Centre for Military Strategic Research of Kazakhstan was signed by Pakistani Ambassador Abdul Salik Khan and Kazakh Centre for Military Strategies President Kozy Korpesh Karbazob. This agreement was aimed at enhancing academic cooperation between the two aforementioned institutes through conferences, research and other academic activities.
