The citizens of the following countries DO NOT require an official invitation for a single business visa, tourist visas, single private visa (up to 30 day of validity)):

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan developed the new "Rules of issuance of visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter - the Rules). On April 26, 2013 these Rules were registered in the State legal documents registration List under the # 8407.
The main purpose of adoption of these Rules aimed to bring its provisions according to the “Migration" Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 22, 2011 and improve the current Visa Regulations, as well as to harmonize entry, exit and stay of foreign citizens in the territory of Kazakhstan.
During the preparation of these Rules the visa policy experience of different countries of the world was taken into account. The Rules establish completely new types of visas, such as "non-immigrant" and "immigrant". In particular, non-immigrant visas include the following types - diplomatic, service, investor, business, missionary, tourist, private and transit. The immigrant visas consist of the permanent residence, family reunion, education, work and humanitarian.
According to the new Rules the visas are divided into categories as follows. The diplomatic visa is divided into "A1", "A2" and "A3", Service - "B1", "B2" and "B3", Investor - "C1" and "C2, " Business - «D1», «D2», «D3», «D4», «D5», «D6», «D7» and «D8», and etc.
It should be noted that these Rules are aimed to create favourable conditions for foreigners, who travel to Kazakhstan with private, tourist and business purposes.
The tourist visas can be issued single, double and triple up to 90 days with the right to stay in Kazakhstan no more than 30 days at each entry.
In accordance with the Rules the foreign entrepreneurs, who travel to Kazakhstan, can obtain business-immigrant visas up to 1 year.
According to the written request of the competent Kazakhstan authority the foreign investors can obtain single entry investor visas up to 90 days and multiple entry investor visas up to 3 years.
The citizens of 48 countries of the world will enjoy a simplified procedure for obtaining single entry visas without invitation letters (visa support).
The new Rules also allow to establish equal conditions on a reciprocal basis (parity) to issue visas with foreign countries.
At the same time in order to reduce the flow of foreigners, who are involved in illegal entrepreneur, labor and other profitable activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the new Rules restrict stay in Kazakhstan the above mentioned persons.
The foreigners, who come to Kazakhstan to participate in conferences, forums, exhibitions, cultural and scientific events can obtain short term D1 business visas. The validity period of single, double and triple D1 visas is 90 days with the right to stay in Kazakhstan no more than 30 days at each entry.
